Privacy is a core foundation at Raven. We rebel against the ad-surveillance model and abuse of personal data. We believe privacy is a human right and that the majority of people on Earth do not want their private lives recorded or streamed to a Big Brother cloud.
We implement safeguards in the hardware and OS to protect user privacy, such as storing sensitive data within secure enclaves, processing speech recognition locally, and obtaining user consent before powering on sensors or transmitting data to a model. A physical cover must be manually removed to use the camera, and Beakon Lights™ in the rims of the glasses light up to make it obvious to people around you when the camera is in use.
